We want UVA Law to be a place where all LGBTQ+ people can feel comfortable and free to be their true, authentic selves. We know that law school and the law profession can be daunting, tiring, and even discouraging at times. That is why our primary objective is to make sure that LGBTQ+ people aspiring toward or within the legal profession are supported and celebrated throughout their journey.
We hope to use our platform to connect past, present, and future UVA Law students to make an impact on the world through the diverse perspectives and talents that we offer.

UVA Law is a unique place for LGBTQ+ students, whom often graduate with fond memories of their time here. The UVA Law on-campus LGBTQ+ community is small, which provides the opportunity to get to know one another on a more personal level. Although the on-campus community is small, our alumni network is vast, vibrant, and full of a variety of alumni with different backgrounds and careers willing to lend their resources to a fellow “Hoo.”
